Reflection
I did not complete the first elevator pitch. I reviewed comments for other’s elevator pitches and used those to help mine, such as, having an interesting hook. I made sure to speak clearly and passionately to get my audience interested. I’m not too sure about the costs for production but I think this is something that can be changed as time goes on with this project.

    Hey Brandi!

    You have a very interesting product that could change, for the better, the number of women who get assaulted each year. Your pitch was excellent! The were only a couple things I saw that could be improved to make the speech even better than what it is. The first thing I saw was the energy. I'm sure you are passionate about your product. Your pitch should exude passion so that you won't only sell a product but also emotion. The last thing I saw was your video was a tad too long. If you could cut some fluff out, your video would be absolutely perfect. I'd buy it for my girlfriend!

    Hi! You really had an amazing pace with your pitch. It was paced out enough that is was very clear to understand. I struggled with this in my pitch. The only two things I would add would be to alter your tone to show emotion in order to get investors invested quicker. Besides this, I would just shorten your pitch because it is a little long and that would be a shame to run out of time.

    I think your pitch was very well formulated and I liked that it was very to the point and clear about what the issue was that you were solving as well as how you planned to stop the problem with your product. Having a plan for the money your investors would spend also strengthened the pitch, but you might find it useful to break down your $10,000 more and explain what will be happening at each step specifically (e.g research and development, production costs, etc.). I would also practice changing your tone more, this is especially useful when you are citing the statistics about a woman's likelihood to become the victim of a crime - if you make that area more hard-hitting it will benefit your pitch a lot!
